Match preview: #SportingMálaga

Málaga CF are visiting El Molinón-Enrique Castro ‘Quini’ on LaLiga 1|2|3 matchday 13. The match against Real Sporting de Gijón will get underway on Sunday at 18:00 (Movistar Partidazo).

The Blue and Whites, second in the standings with 25 points, are heading to Asturias to face the rival in 13th place with 14 points. The match will be officiated by Gorka Sagués Oscoz from the Basque Country, who will be refereeing MCF for the first time in an official game.

A central defender, solid and expeditious, Muñiz accumulated 150 matches with Gijón (148 in the starting line-up and 142 complete games) in the First Division, scoring 6 goals. He also played another 27 matches in the Copa del Rey, all in the starting-11 and 26 complete (2 goals), plus 2 more promotion games to the elite, in the starting line-up for the 180 minutes of play.
