Viberti, the legend who played in Tarragona

During his time in Spain, Sebastián Humberto Viberti Irazoki played for two teams: CD Málaga and Gimnàstic de Tarragona. Viberti, a Blue and White icon between 1969 and 1974, played a total of 134 official matches (95 in the First Division, 22 in the Second Division and 17 Copa del Generalísimo clashes), achieving important milestones with CD Málaga (7th place in the league, a Cup semi-final and five consecutive years in the elite, amongst other achievements).

Following his time with the Malaguistas, he signed to the Tarragona team, then in the Second Division, staying with them for one season, 1974/75. Viberti played 28 official matches between the League and Cup with Nàstic, and at the end of that season he hung up his boots.
