Juande: “We need to get up and come back stronger for the League”
The Blue and White central defender appeared in the mixed zone following the #NàsticMálaga Cup clash. “Now we have to work hard, return stronger and ensure the second round goes much better,” he stated.
The Córdoba-born player saw “a very even match. I think we deserved more as we dominated play and generated opportunities. Yet in the end, the only shot they had resulted in the goal,” he said about the final 2-1 result.
“We gave our all and are leaving disappointed as we wanted to win and continue on in the competition. There’s no other option, we need to get up and come back stronger for the League,” added the Malaguista number '5'.
On a personal level, Juande sees himself getting “better and better and the sensations are improving after the injury. I really want to improve, we all need to in the second round. Now we’ll enjoy the holidays, work hard, return stronger and ensure the second round goes much better,” he concluded.
