Marta Cazalla (Pinto, Madrid, 5/04/1997) is the latest incorporation to Málaga CF Femenino to compete in Liga Iberdrola during the 2018-19 season. The central defender arrives on the Costa del Sol from Atlético de Madrid Femenino, which last season won the League championship and reached the final of the Copa de la Reina.
The young homegrown Red and Whites’ player took part in five games in the starting line-up with the current League champions and has won two leagues and a Cup competition with the Madrid side.
International career
The defender wore the Spain U-19 jersey and took part in the European Championships in Slovakia in 2016, in which Spain came second.
The Madrid-born player has also been part of Spain’s U-20s and headed to the World Cup in Papua New Guinea.
