María Ruiz, one of the team captains and scorer of the memorable goal that led to promotion, debuted in Liga Iberdrola last season when she was still a minor. In total the Malagueña player accumulated 1,419 minutes over 24 games in 18/19, scoring three goals. This makes her the team’s second highest goal-scorer, behind Adriana and tied with Leti.
As such, Málaga CF Femenino can count on the services of María Ruiz for another year.
