Maresca: “We only have margin for improvement in order to move up”

Málaga Club de Fútbol midfielder, Enzo Maresca, spoke this afternoon, Monday 14th November, to the media in the Ciudad de Málaga press room.

(League break). “These breaks suit us to recharge the batteries.  But now we’re once again back doing what we love and working towards the next match.”

(Playing on Monday). “Sometimes the weeks get long, but at the same time they give us more time to prepare for the matches.  At the beginning it’s always strange, but with the months and years, everyone gets used to the changes.”

(Team). “As players we’ve got to be positive about everything that goes on around us.  It’s clear that we’re not playing as we would like, but at the same time, we’re getting the results that allow us to achieve one of the objectives we set out at the beginning of the season, to be in the top six positions.  We accept the criticism, but you can’t always play well and win and how we only have margin fro improvement in order to move up.”

(Baptista). “Julio Baptista is an important player, but the teammates that play in his place are giving their all and that is what’s important.”

(Winter transfer window). “There are always rumours and names, but for that you have a sporting director and manager.”
