Isco shares great play and goals in the Under 21s win against Switzerland (3-0)

Málaga player, Isco, has once again turned out a great performance with Spain’s Under 21s on the evening of Monday 14th November, when they beat Switzerland in a qualifying game for the European Championship

Even though he didn’t score any of Spain’s three goals, the Málaga player has been one of the key members of the squad in the match, in which he played the full 90 minutes.  The malaguista midfielder was fundamental with his individual moves and passes to his teammates in the Spanish attack, the latter directly contributing to the first two goals for Spain.

In the first, Isco began the attack with a great pass to Planes who then passed it to Muniaín who had the pleasure of scoring. And in the second, he assisted with a diagonal ball that overcame the Swiss defence and landed with Montoya, who suffered at the entrance to Switzerland’s goal, but then it was transformed into a goal by Thiagó with a penalty.  At the end of the first match, Barto made it 3-0, with Spain and the match’s last goal, with a great header.

The victory against Switzerland pushes Spain’s Under 21s towards the next Eurocopa, as Switzerland are now second in the group and Spain maintain their clean sheet.
