Málaga is Blue and White. Not just the capital, the entire province. It’s a palpable reality at La Rosaleda, hundreds of fans travel many kilometres to see their team in action at the Malaguista temple every matchday.
The Club welcomes the affection of these Malagueños, and has set the goal of boosting the fans in different parts of the province. As such, the Club launches the ‘Malaguistas to the Core’ campaign.
Under this initiative, the Entity wants each municipality to have the chance to be the star of a matchday at La Rosaleda. A bus will be made available for fans to whom official shirts will be delivered, the municipal’s highest authority will be present in the ‘Palco de Honor’, a stand with their regional products will be set up in the VIP area, they will appear on the video scoreboard, on the ‘U’ virtual television, and will be mentioned by the official speaker, amongst other things.
Following the agreement with the Diputación Provincial de Málaga this summer, the Entity recognised that this formula would help to bolster growth throughout the province, no matter how far away.
This action follows the announcement of the impending changes regarding the maximum capacity at the stadium. The presumable relaxation of the restrictions due to the fall in COVID-19 cases allows different measures to be implemented regarding the fans, which the Club will shortly adopt.
