Jaime Molina’s men were put under pressure by the Granada side just before half time thanks to Comino, who took advantage of the pitch’s dimensions which create lots of game play in the penalty areas.
 
However, Atlético Malagueño also upped their game and showed intensity and their competitive nature.  The fruits of their labour came through with an equalising goal in minute 55 scored by Juanfri who capitalised on a rejected ball in the small area.  The definitive result was achieved thanks to Iván Aguilar who managed to put 1-2 on the Machado Villar de Armilla Municipal stadium’s scoreboard.
 
With this win, Atlético Malagueño maintain their options to be in the play-offs to be promoted to Second B, although this does depend on securing a victory against Nerja (15th) and their rival today, as well as on the relegation of Arenas de Armilla who now face Maracena away in their last match of the campaign.
