Málaga Femenino continue moving up. The Blue and Whites achieved another home win by 8 goals to 1 against Daimiel Racing Club Femenino de Ciudad Real, in the fourth Segunda División Nacional Group IV league game.

Femenino took the reins of play at the beginning. Well-armed on the attack, Antonio Contreras’ girls dominated the rival area. In minute 2, the referee declared a free kick outside the area in favour of the Blue and Whites. Adriana was in charge of launching the ball, and a superb left-footer crashed into the back of Daimiel’s net to give the locals a 1-0 lead.

Blue and White were the dominating colours during the subsequent minutes of play as Málaga besieged Daimiel. In the 13th minute, a Raquel header hooked a ball served up by Adriana to make it a 2-0 lead. Only four minutes later, a corner kick from Paula landed straight at Adriana’s feet who converted the 3-0. Despite the good gameplay by the Malaguistas, Daimiel made the most of a space for Laura to draw one back, 3-1, for the Ciudad Real side in 23’. Málaga’s chances didn’t dissipate, Encarni and Sheila both had opportunities, but at the half-time whistle the scoreboard remained at 3-1.

In the second half, Málaga continued to dominate the ball. In 57’, Adriana propelled a free kick with her left foot from outside the area, but lost the ball over the crossbar by just a few centimetres. Contreras refreshed the line-up in midfield, brining on international, Kerlly into play in substitution of Sandra.

Málaga felt comfortable on the pitch, and Adriana took the reins. In 67’, she sank the ball into the goal to give her team a 4-1 lead. In the 78th minute an individual display by her led to 5-1 on the scoreboard and her fourth goal. Two minutes later, she did it again to put the Blue and Whites 6-1 ahead. Femenino cornered Daimiel, and in the 82nd minute, Karina gained possession from a rival clearance and made it 7-1. When it all looked over, Noelia in minute 89 gave Málaga an 8-1 win.
