As was agreed on 29th July, Málaga will participate in the tournament free of charge in order to support the Jaén side, which will be the sole beneficiary of the match. All the information regarding ticket sales will be published by Real Jaén's Communication Department shortly.
Málaga Club de Fútbol participates in the 'Trofeo del Olivo' as part of an agreement between several Andalusian clubs. Similarly, earlier this summer, the Blues and Whites took part for free in the 'Trofeo Ramón de Carranza' and the 'Trofeo de la Vendimia.'
Forgoing a match against Córdoba, with whom there's also a collaboration agreement, the Málaga squad will head for Jaén on 5th October to play at the Nuevo Estadio de la Victoria at 8.30 p.m in the 31st Olive Tournament. As part of that agreement, Málaga Club de Fútbol will loan winger Javi López to the Jaén side for the rest of this season.
