Málaga CF’s women’s teams face a May bank holiday full of competitions

Málaga CF Femenino’s last match of the season is against ADFB La Rambla, whilst the reserve team and Promesas are taking part in the Copa Federación.

The May bank holiday is action-packed for Málaga CF’s women’s teams. Raúl Iznata’s girls are heading to La Rambla (Córdoba) on 1st May to take part in the 26th Second Division Group IV match (11:00). The match between La Rambla and Málaga CF Femenino will be the finishing touch to the season for the Malaguistas, who are in third place with 60 points, after their massive 9-0 victory against CD Híspalis last week.

Beforehand, on Saturday, the reserve team will compete against CD El Palo in San Ignacio (19:00). This is the second match in the Copa Federación. In the first game between these rivals, Noelia’s girls defeated CD El Palo by 2-1 thanks to goals by María Vargas and Ainhoa.

The Promesas team also kick off their participation in the Copa Federación this weekend, on Sunday at 12:00 in Puerta Blanca. The Blue and Whites will face the local team a week after finishing their league competition, with a 1-1 draw against Santa Julia CD. With this result, Ayala’s team ended in 9th place with 36 points.
