Work with the ball takes centre stage in the rain

The Málaga CF squad resumed training this Saturday morning at La Rosaleda, on a day again marked by rainfall. Heavy focus on ball work took precedence, two days before #MálagaSevillaFC.

A total of 20 pitch players (plus goalkeepers, Kameni and Boyko) were in training this morning, under the orders of Míchel to continue preparations for the clash with Sevilla FC, corresponding to the 35th LaLiga Santander match. Homegrown players, Luis Muñoz and Ontiveros were in training with the first team, as is the norm.

The Blue and Whites kicked off training with a warm-up, and later carried out exercises with the ball. The session ended with a match at La Rosaleda’s annexe ground.

There were few changes in regard to injured players. Rosales, Peñaranda and Koné stayed in the gym and weren’t in training with their teammates. With the Club’s permission, Kuzmanovic remains in Switzerland.

The Blue and Whites’ team will return to training tomorrow, Sunday (10:30), again at La Rosaleda stadium’s facilities. Following the session, Míchel will hold a press conference before the match against Sevilla FC.
