The session began with continuous running, then the boys were divided into three groups; the first including goalkeepers Caballero, Kameni and Pedro, the second with the players from yesterday’s match against Rayo Vallecano, who continued running for a further 20 minutes, and the rest of the group focused on rounds, possession and passing exercises, a five-a-side practice match and an additional 10 minutes of running.
 
Ignacio Monreal is still in recovery, and was the only player absent from today’s session.
 
The next training session for Manuel Pellegrini’s men is scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, in Italy.
