Málaga CF’s Infantil Autonómico named group champions

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Infantil Autonómico team in ‘La Academia’ were proclaimed Group 2 champions last weekend, with two matches left in play, after defeating Betis Iliturgitano by 0-1.

With two games to go until the end of the competition, Javier Morán’s team has reached 79 points, six more than Granada CF, and coupled with a higher goal average, the Infantil Autonómico are group champions and qualify for the finals of the Andalucían championships on 25th and 26th May in Villanueva del Trabuco (Málaga).
 
The ‘Malaguistas’ will play the second-placed team in Group 1 in the final stage of the competition.  With two matches left to play, Real Betis are currently in second place, whilst Sevilla FC are in the lead.
