Málaga CF wins the 25th Anniversary Canal Sur Tournament

Málaga CF’s ‘Alevínes’ from the youth academy have been proclaimed champions of the 25th Anniversary Canal Sur Tournament, held in Gines (Sevilla), after defeating Sevilla FC by 3-2.

The team, led by Víctor Borrego and Mario Rueda, performed well throughout the tournament, defeating Granada CF (4-1) and Real Jaén (4-0) in the group stage.  They later beat UD Almería (3-1) to reach the final.
 
The best ‘Alevín’ teams in Andalucía took part in this tournament, which will be televised by Canal Sur next weekend as part of special programming to celebrate Andalucía Day.
