Málaga CF-Villarreal CF preview

Málaga Club de Fútbol welcomes Villareal CF tomorrow at La Roseleda at 9p.m for the 14th BBVA League match.

It’s the second consecutive Monday match for Manuel Pellegrini’s squad, who’ve only ever won twice against Villareal in the First Division and who have only lost one league match out of the last seven at La Rosaleda.

In addition, it’ll be a very special clash for Manuel Pellegrini and Santi Cazorla as they’re taking on a team that launched their respective careers in Spanish football.

Despite their bad start in the League, Villareal accumulates two wins and a draw in their last three games, only scoring once in their last none matches away from El Madrigal.  Garrido’s men haven’t won away since March, the worst a patch of eleven games for the Yellows since December 2002.

Málaga-Villareal, another opportunity for the Blue and Whites to consolidate their current European position, compared to the recent seasons in UEFA and Champions positions.
