Málaga CF - Real Zaragoza preview

Málaga Club de Fútbol takes on Real Zaragoza, at La Rosaleda stadium, for the 25th BBVA League match.

Málaga have only managed to beat ‘Los Maños’ once in the last ten league games played, and have secured four draws, including one this season at La Romareda (0-0).

The Malaguistas’ power at home has been shown by losing only once (to Barcelona) in the last seven, with four wins and two draws.  This, whilst the Aragón side have only been able to achieve one win in the last 16 league games, which was their last away game against Espanyol (0-2).

Interesting stats:

-Málaga are, alongside Granada, the only side in the present League who have won all their games after scoring the first goal in a match.

- Zaragoza are the only side in the First Division who have not scored from inside the penalty area this season.

- The Blue and Whites are the ones who’ve scored most from free kicks in this campaign (three, and all by Cazorla), although none have been scored in this way since September.

- The last eight Málaga goals have been from foreign players, six of them South Americans.

- There’s never been a draw between Manuel Pellegrini's and Manolo Jiménez’s sides (two wins for the Chilean, four for the Sevilla-born coach).
