A header into goal from Salomón Rondón at the start of the second half unleashed euphoria amongst the fans who watched their team make the Malaguismo dream come true. It was the last League match of the season, 13th May 2012, which also served to bid farewell to world football legend Ruud van Nistelrooy, who played his final minutes as a professional, substituting goal-scorer, Rondón.
