Málaga CF makes their Champions League debut in La Rosaleda wearing their second strip

The Blue and Whites will face FC Zenit St. Petersburg tonight, at 8:45p.m., in La Rosaleda. For the first match in this competition for Manuel Pellegrini's team, the boys will be wearing their second strip, in order to comply with UEFA regulations.

The UEFA rules state that teams whose first team kit consists of stripes or various colours, must present two alternative kits. Teams whose first strip is made up of just one colour, only need to supply two kits.

As FC Zenit has registered two kits for this competition, one light blue and the other white, UEFA has instructed Málaga Club de Fútbol to wear their black second strip. The Málaga goalkeepers will be in red.

The players on the sidelines will warm-up in their own dug outs. Following this morning's meeting, to come in line with UEFA rules, the players from each team will warm-up during the match, on the sidelines nearest to their own dug out.
