The Blue and Whites’ Club has two players in the list of 50 most talented of 2015, as chosen by prestigious British newspaper, The Guardian: Hachim Mastour and José Luis ‘Kuki’ Zalazar.
The nearly 200 year-old English newspaper has published a list of the 50 most talented players born in 1998. A generation of promising young hopefuls, of which Málaga CF’s Moroccan-born Hachim Mastour, and La Academia player, Kuki Zalazar, who usually trains with the Blue and Whites’ first team, are included.
It is an honour for two Málaga CF representatives to be ranked alongside players from teams such as Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal.
The Blue and Whites’ commitment to the future was shown last week when coach, Javi Gracia debuted Pablo Fornals at the Santiago Bernabéu. A new benchmark from the ‘Malaguista’ factory, and at just 19 years of age, was also given minutes on the pitch in last weekend’s win against Real Sociedad, and is a regular fixture in first team training sessions.
