Málaga CF incorporates Sandro Ramírez

Canary Islands-born Sandro Ramírez Castillo, from FC Barcelona, is a new Málaga Club de Fútbol player for the next three seasons.

  • Born on 9th July 1995 (20 years old), in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, he is a striker who began with UD Las Palmas, and at ‘cadete’ age moved to Fútbol Club Barcelona’s youth ranks.  In 2013/14 he moved to Barça’s reserve team in the Second Division, scoring seven goals in 31 games.
  • The following season he alternated between FC Barcelona B and the first team, debuting in LaLiga away to Villarreal CF (31/08/2014), scoring the victory goal for his team.  His numbers that season were seven LaLiga matches and two goals with FC Barcelona, and 30 matches and eight goals in the Second Division with FC Barcelona B.
  • Last season, 2015/16, he became a first team player with Barcelona, taking part in 10 matches.
