La Rosaleda was one of the venues for this annual multi-sport event, with the 'Match 4 vs 100' taking place at the Annexe, with Malaguista players Luis Muñoz and María Farfán getting involved.

Málaga was the chosen venue for Marca Sport Weekend 2022, the fourth edition of this annual event organised by the sports information newspaper.

From today, Friday until Sunday, all corners of the city will be invaded by dozens of events in which numerous personalities from the world of sport will be present.

And, of course, Málaga CF had to be a part of Marca Sport Weekend 2022. This Friday afternoon, between 17:00 and 18:00, La Rosaleda’s Annexe hosted the 'Match 4 vs 100', featuring Malaguista players Luis Muñoz and María Farfán, together with Sergio Camello, Atlético de Madrid player and Jonatan 26, an influencer with more than 5 million followers on Tik Tok. Firstly, all four played a 15-minute match with 100 boys and girl - 80 from the MCF Academy and another 20 from Málaga Genuine, all wearing the training kit. The group was subsequently divided into two to carry out three challenges. The first was the ’Crossbar Challenge’, continuing with the execution of three Olympic goal attempts and ending with a series of penalty shootouts.

Luis Muñoz took the opportunity to “thank Marca for coming to Málaga, to this great stadium and holding this event, which is wonderful for the children, such a great experience.” In regard to the result of the 'Match 4 vs 100', he added: “They held their own! They scored five goals against us, we have to congratulate them.”

Influencer Jonatan 26 described the experience as “incredible, I’d love to do it again, it was great.” He also talked about the difficulty of playing against so many rivals: “It was impossible, I arrived at the area once and took a penalty. It was deserved as I was brought down. That’s a joke, I threw myself down!”

La Rosaleda is one of the venues selected for this 'MSW22', along with others that are also characteristic of the city such as the Plaza de la Constitución, Muelle Uno, the Pompidou Centre, the Thyssen Museum, Real Club Mediterráneo and the Aula del Mar, where throughout the weekend numerous personalities from the world of sport, such as Javier Tebas, Saúl Craviotto, Mireia Belmonte, Ana Peleteiro, Fermín Cacho, Carlos Cabezas, Vicente del Bosque, Damián Quintero and many more, will be taking part in conferences, clinics and dozens of activities.
