Málaga Club de Fútbol enjoyed Christmas lunch together with the media. On this occasion, the traditional festive lunch was held in La Rosaleda stadium’s VIP area, where journalists and representatives from different departments of the Entity toasted to a promising future and wished everyone a Merry Christmas.
A celebratory cocktail was served, courtesy of Doña Francisquita Catering, before Christmas lunch within a wonderful festive atmosphere. Present were the three Club advisers. Abdullah Ben Barek, Antonio Benítez and Francisco Martín Aguilar; MCF Academy director, Rafa Gil; Málaga CF Femenino, coach, Antonio Contreras; and Sebastián Fernández Reyes, from the MCF Foundation’s Social Department.
At the beginning of the event a minute’s silence was held in memory of Fernando González, the graphic editor and photographer with Diario SUR who recently passed away. After lunch, as is tradition, Martín Aguilar wished everyone best wishes for the year ahead, and toasted to sporting success in 2019 for Málaga CF.
