Málaga CF and LFP present agreement with Sockatyes

At the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium this morning, Málaga Club de Fútbol and the Professional Football League (LFP) presented the agreement with sponsor, Sockatyes for the ‘Malaguistas’ to wear the Asian brand on their team socks for two seasons.

Blue and Whites’ players, Sergi Darder and Samu Castillejo attended the presentation this morning, wearing the home and away kits, including the new socks bearing the name of the new sponsor.  Director of business development, José María Arrabal was also present, along with the LFP’s director of marketing, Adolfo Bara.

“This is an agreement within which other clubs are also associated.  It’s important as the League is placing value on our competition on an international level.  Our League is growing rapidly in China, in part as a result of the great work undertaken by the LFP, and we are coming into line with the policy currently being developed.  The design of the football socks is similar to the LFP logo on the shirt sleeves,” affirms José María Arrabal.

Adolfo Bara also discusses the sponsorship: “We are working with all the clubs to make the League and each club in it much bigger.  Our capacity for growth is located outside Spain, and we’re focusing on adding value to the brand, for example via the World Challenge.  Along with the sponsor, it was decided that Málaga Club de Fútbol should be one of the clubs involved in this initiative.  We’re grateful to Málaga CF for their support in the aim to boost revenue.”
