Kameni suffered a bout of gastroenteritis before the team left Málaga, so just the 18-player line-up travelled to Russia.  With the coaching team, management, 80 fans and ten journalists, the 18 players complete the ‘Malaguista’ expedition to St. Petersburg, with a current temperature of four degrees Centigrade.
 
On arrival, the squad was taken to Gran Hotel Europe (Nevsky Prospekt, Mikhailovskaya Ulitsa 1/7), where they’ll stay until tomorrow’s official training session, to acclimatise to the climate and the time difference.
