Málaga and Fuenlabrada join forces against the COVID-19 pandemic

Both clubs have chosen one another as an alternative stadium in the case of the closure of their facilities or the impossibility of accessing either location.

Málaga Club de Fútbol and Club de Fútbol Fuenlabrada came to an agreement this morning by which they are selected as an alternative stadium, located outside of their Autonomous Community, where they would play their home games if access to their stadiums was impossible due to circumstances surrounding the pandemic. Under this agreement, Málaga and Fuenlabrada will loan their facilities to one another in the case of extreme necessity.

On 5th September, the Monitoring Commission of the RFEF-LALIGA Coordination Agreement agreed to incorporate into the Rules and Regulations of the First Division and Second Division competition a set of specific measures to anticipate various circumstances associated with the Covid-19 pandemic. Amongst these measures is the obligation to select an alternative stadium outside their Autonomous Community where they will hold official home games, before Friday 18th September. In compliance with these regulations, the Fernando Torres Stadium will turn Blue and White if necessary, and La Rosaleda will be the home of the Fuenlabreños.
