Málaga and Coca-Cola, together in favour of sustainability

Both entities, who have been working hand in hand for years, have distributed the 100% Malaguista scarf, made with 50% PET (recycled plastic).

Málaga CF and Coca-Cola have been working together for over 50 years and our relationship provides fruitful results. Last season, both parties carried out the #FútbolConBuenAmbiente campaign. This initiative raised awareness among Malaguistas to be more environmentally friendly and as a result, created the 100% Malaguista scarves.

This sustainable scarf is made with 50% recycled plastic from the containers collected at La Rosaleda.

A total of 1.620 fans have attended all the Blue and White home games and therefore receive this scarf for their loyalty and commitment to environmental awareness. Just like the employees from the factory and sales department of Coca-Cola European Partners in Málaga, reinforcing the strong relationship between both companies.

Head of the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, Sebastián Fernández ‘Basti’, accompanied by Málaga CF’s sports director, Manolo Gaspar attended the scarf presentation event to the employees, and gifted Coca-Cola with a book of unpublished images featuring the logo of the multinational brand over the years throughout Malaguista history. Alejandro García, Head of PACS in the southern area of CCEP, as well as the plant manager of Coca-Cola European Partners in Málaga, José Antonio López, received this gift.

Together, let’s continue promoting football within an environmentally friendly atmosphere!
