Luismi Sánchez, hierarchy and consistency for midfield

The midfielder, who arrives on a free transfer from Real Oviedo, joins Málaga CF for the next two seasons.

Luis Miguel Sánchez Benítez (05/05/1992, Puerto Serrano - Cádiz), is an experienced midfielder with a defensive profile. Forceful on the pitch, with great tactical disposition and effective in passing, Luismi is a key link in a strong midfield.

Raised in the youth ranks of Sevilla FC, he debuted with the Sevilla team in LaLiga EA Sports against Valencia CF on 23rd October 2014. After finishing his training at Sevilla Atlético, the player landed in professional football permanently in the ranks of Real Valladolid CF in 16/17. Since then, he has played for Club Gimnàstic de Tarragona, Elche CF and Real Oviedo (in two stages). The Carbayón team was his last team, from where he arrives after his contract came to an end.

Luismi has played a total of 251 professional matches, 153 of which were in LaLiga Hypermotion. The most recent were in the the promotion phase to LaLiga EA Sports, being in the starting line-up in all four games.

The player, who will undergo the usual medical on Monday at the Vithas Málaga medical facilities, joins Málaga CF for the next two seasons.
