José Luis Muñoz León, 23/02/1997 (Málaga), joined the Blue and Whites’ youth ranks in the Infantil category, from CD 26 de Febrero.
Since then, Luis was formed in the MCF Academy, as well as being an international in the lower categories of RFEF. Within his sporting curriculum the Juvenil championship of Spain stands out, as well as the historic participation in the last UEFA Youth League.
In addition, Luis Muñoz belongs to a group of homegrown players who during last season were regular fixtures in first team training sessions, getting his reward on 19th November with his First Division debut against FC Barcelona at Camp Nou. Since then, Luis has taken part in a total of five LaLiga Santander matches with Málaga CF.
Muñoz now continues his professional development with CD Lugo, where he’ll compete in the Second Division. The Málaga-born player is being loaned out to the Galician team for the present season. Good luck, Luis!
