Good work reaps rewards
“We’re very pleased with the three points from a tough game. We have certainly seen how difficult this category is. The entire team is delighted with the result and for the image we conveyed. We showed we’re a team and maintained the line of the preseason and the first two games of the competition. We know there’s a long way to go, but we’re very happy with today’s three points and the start to the season”.
Harper’s goal
“It was a beautiful goal and was good for us to get in front and manage the match. From then on, I think we would have liked to have more possession, but considering we didn’t have the ball too much, we barely suffered at all. We maintained control of play and except for the final minutes, which is logical with such direct play they force you to the area, we didn’t really suffer”.
Lot of work to do, step by step
“No doubt we’ll suffer at some point, this has only just begun. It’s an incredibly long season, we’re only three games in. However, nobody can take away what we’ve already accomplished, we’ll take each step at a time, match by match, and from tonight, we’ll rest well and prepare for a great week ahead. We’re returning to La Rosaleda with our fans, following the great show they put on today, and are determined to get another positive result”.
