David Rodríguez Lombán (Asturias, 1987) arrived at the Club during the 18/19 campaign, playing a total of 10 matches in Liga 1|2|3, as it was previously known. Last season, as one of the team captains, he played 27 games (three goals) in LaLiga SmartBank, a key feature of the Blue and White defence, as the team to have conceded the fewest goals in the category.
The central defender from Asturias has always shown immense commitment to the Entity. Proof of this is his renewal with MCF last summer, renouncing his salary from 30th June until the end of the 19/20 season.
After automatically renewing in July, Lombán has once again demonstrated his desire to continue with the Club, reaching an agreement for a renewed contract extending until 2022.
