Llorente and Chelsea fly the flag for Blue and Whites’ Values

Málaga CF’s central defender and goalkeeper visited CEIP García Lorca, taking the awareness campaign that encourages good habits to schools in the city.

Diego Llorente and Chelsea delighted the students as they promoted the Blue and Whites’ Values.  Attendees watched a commercial, and later remained very attentive to the talk given by the master of ceremonies; Málaga CF coach and former Blue and Whites’ player, Raúl Iznata.

After the ‘class’ by the coach, both Llorente and Chelsea answered questions from the pupils, in a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

Following which, the defender addressed the Club media:

Blue and Whites’ Values

“Children always surprise you, in a good way, and for me, their support has been wonderful.  I’m very grateful, and the only thing I can do is be here and have fun with them.  These chats are very important for all these children, as an element of awareness of healthy habits, which are essential as they are the future generation”.

Bad luck with the number of injuries

“Generally speaking, we’ve been unlucky since the start of the season, due to the number of injured players.  The League break will serve to regain players who have sustained injury, giving the coach more options”.

Recovery

“I’m getting better all the time, progressing a great deal over the last few days.  I’m not yet at 100 per cent, but I’m working hard every day and hope to be available to the coach again as soon as possible”.
