Málaga CF Femenino defeated CD Pozoalbense Femenino by 0-5 in the 12th match of the season in Segunda División Nacional Femenina Group IV. Goals from Raquel, Adriana, Encarni and Sheila consolidate the Blue and White’s team as leaders of the standings with 31 points.
Despite the low temperatures, the Malaguistas were very well adjusted to the field of play. So much so, in minute 5, Raquel took advantage of a rebound from a corner to open the scoring, 0-1. After various minutes where both sides shared possession and the offsides made it impossible for the visitors to score, a pass from Sheila to Adriana in minute 35 led to a new goal for the Malaguistas (0-2). Only five minutes later, the Blue and Whites’ captain struck gold from a pass and converted from a free kick inside the area, to end the first half with a 0-3 lead.
In the second half, the distance on the scoreboard continued to increase. In 48’, a free kick from Adriana landed at the boots of Encarni, who made it 0-4. Contreras made some changes to the Blue and Whites line-up. He brought on Alba in goal, and put Noelia on the pitch in place of Raquel. In addition, Noelia and Karina were also given minutes. The fifth and final goal arrived in minute 72, netted by striker, Sheila. Despite the attempts by the Malaguistas in the last 20 minutes of play, there were no further goals, and the goal from Sheila sealed the final result.
