The third signing of the winter transfer window completed his first training session under Pepe Mel’s orders today, which took place between La Rosaleda’s Annexe and the main pitch.
Málaga CF returned to training this Thursday morning between the Annexe and main pitch at La Rosaleda following a day off on Wednesday, to continue preparations for the match against SD Eibar on Sunday.
The latest signing to join the Malaguista project, Lago Junior, who was officially announced last night, was in training this morning.
The winger from the Ivory Coast, the third signing of the winter transfer window after Delmás and Appiah, completed all tasks set by the Blue and White coaching team, divided into two parts and at two locations. In the first, the team warmed up with a physical circuit at the Annexe followed by tactical work on La Rosaleda’s main pitch.
Lumor, after returning from Ghana and remaining in the gym on Tuesday, re-joined the group dynamic today.
Another new face today was Atlético Malagueño midfielder, Rafa. Regular fixtures Carlos López, Andrés Caro, Dani Lorenzo, Cristian and Loren were the MCF Academy players in training today.
One player who had to train separately from his teammates was Genaro, due to a muscular injury in the medial adductor of his left leg.
Ramón alternated between work in the gym and running exercises on the Annexe pitch, whilst Escassi underwent specific work in La Rosaleda’s interior galleries.
Moussa, Víctor Olmo and Haitam continued with their respective recovery processes.
Tomorrow, Friday training will get underway at 10:30 at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
