A hundred schoolchildren from CEIP María del Mar Romera in Rincón de la Victoria kicked off 2023’s ‘Blue and White Values’ on 12th January.
The MCF Foundation campaign, this season sponsored by the Diputación Provincial de Málaga, continues to convey Blue and White sporting values and healthy habits, welcoming schools from Málaga and the province to La Rosaleda.
On this occasion, around a hundred children from CEIP María del Mar Romera enjoyed an unforgettable morning. After a tour of the Club's history at the stadium's Museum & Tour, the children enjoyed a talk on Blue and White Values in the 'Juan Cortés' press room.
Unai Bustinza (Málaga CF), Futu (Málaga CF Femenino), Javi Escudero and Juan Ramos (Málaga Genuine) accompanied the students who acted as improvised journalists.
During the question-and-answer session, Bustinza said his first coach was his own father at school. The defender from the Basque Country, who is studying INEF and Nutrition and Dietetics, talked about the importance of studies at an early age. Futu revealed that Basti, the soul of the MCF Foundation's Social Department, trained her when she was part of the lower ranks of CD 26 de Febrero. And the Genuines, Javi and Juan mentioned Yáñez, Genaro and Bustinza, in the first case, and Rubén Castro, in the second, as their favourite Málaga CF players.
The school’s visit ended with the traditional family photo, this time in La Rosaleda’s press room, with the biggest of smiles for everyone present!
