La Academia in Andalucían Championships

Málaga Club de Fútbol’s youth teams have an important weekend ahead. The ‘Cadetes’ are competing in the final stage of the Andalucían Championships, and the ‘Alevín’ and ‘Benjamín’ teams are taking part in the knockout rounds of the competition.

Málaga CF’s ‘Cadetes’, having been proclaimed Andalucián Coca-Cola Cup champions, and gaining qualification to the final stage of the competition, are competing in the Andalucían Championships taking place this weekend in Villanueva del Trabuco (Málaga).  Antonio Jesús Gálvez’s boys are facing group 1 runners-up, Balón de Cádiz CF in Saturday’s semi-final (1 p.m.)  The other semi is between Real Betis Balompié and CD Puerto Malagueño (11 a.m.)  The final of the Andalucían Championships is on Sunday 8th June at 11 a.m.
 
The ‘Alevínes’ are up against Ciudad de Granada in the return leg of the knockout round.  The ‘Malaguistas’ need to turn the 3-2 result around from the first leg in Sunday’s match at Los Prados (7:30 p.m.)
 
The ‘Benjamínes’ kick off the second knockout round of the Andalucían Championships against Granada CF on Saturday (12 p.m.) at El Duende.
 
Next weekend is the turn of the ‘Infantiles’. Like the ‘Cadetes’, Carlos González’s boys are playing in the final stage of the Andalucían Championships in Villanueva del Trabuco (Málaga).  The Blue and Whites’ rival in the semi-finals is Real Betis Balompíe (Saturday 14th June, 12:30 p.m.), whilst the other semi is between Sevilla FC and Granada CF.
