Málaga CF and RCD Espanyol have reached an agreement for the transfer of Keidi Bare, who will continue on in LaLiga SmartBank with the Barcelona outfit.
The Albanian central midfielder joined Club Atlético Malagueño from Club Atlético de Madrid at the start of the 18/19 season. Despite being a reserve team player, his intensity and pace of play quickly won him a place on the first team. He played 18 games with Málaga CF in LaLiga 1|2|3 and another 11 in Second Division B with the Malaguista reserve team.
Last season, 19/20, also signed to the reserve team, Keidi was a regular fixture in the starting-11 in midfield, taking part in 30 matches (one goal) and accumulating 2.316 minutes in LaLiga SmartBank. In addition, he consolidated his presence with his country’s national team with six international appearances (one goal and one assist).
After taking part in the preseason with Málaga CF, showing his usual fighting spirit and involvement, he moves to an historic club within the same division, RCD Espanyol de Barcelona.
Málaga Club de Fútbol is grateful to Keidi Bare for his tenacity and dedication every time he donned the Blue and White jersey. Lots of luck in Catalunya, ‘Pitbull’!
