Keidi, Iván Jaime, Chica and Gonzalo, new to the session

The Malaguista first team returned to training this Tuesday morning at La Rosaleda stadium. Reserve team players Sergio Chica and Keidi Bare, plus ‘juvenil’ players Gonzalo and Iván Jaime were the new additions to the session.

Muñiz designed today’s session that took place on the main Martiricos pitch. The coach had a total of 28 players available this morning, including four goalkeepers and 24 pitch players. The footballers alternated between physical work and exercises with the ball in groups during the two-hour session.

‘Juvenil’ goalkeeper Gonzalo joined Munir, Prieto and Kieszek, whilst Chica, Keidi and Iván Jaime joined regular fixtures Iván Rodríguez, Harper and Hicham, in what was a broad representation of homegrown players from the MCF Academy.

Team captain Fede Ricca remained in the gym today to undergo preventive work, together with the non-physically fit Cifuentes and Mula. Juankar, in the final part of training, abandoned the session due to discomfort to the right knee.

Tomorrow, Wednesday from 10:00, Málaga CF will return to training at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
