Juanpi talks to the Club media about the draw for the 1/16 final of the Copa del Rey, which sees Málaga CF paired with Córdoba CF. The first leg will take place at the Nuevo Estadio ‘El Arcángel’, with the return leg at La Rosaleda.

“It’s a nearby city. In addition, it’s nice to compete against a team that was recently in the First Division. Last year things didn’t go well for us. We were knocked out by CD Mirandés, which wasn’t part of our plans, but we’ve got another chance this year. We’re kicking off the competition against an Andalucían team, a great team like Córdoba. Let’s hope everything goes well when the time comes.”
