The Goffertstadion in Nijmegen, Holland hosted this afternoon’s friendly between Venezuela and Iran. The result was a 1-0 victory for Iran, thanks to a goal in minute 57 by Ali Jahanbakhsh.
For the ‘Vinotinto’ side, coach, Rafael Dudamel counted on Juanpi Añor in the starting-11, who acted as a pivot behind captain and former Malaguista, Salomón Rondón. Wearing the number 11 shirt, Juanpi was substituted by his teammate, Yeferson Soteldo in minute 59 of play. Adalberto Peñaranda remained on the subs’ bench throughout the game.
