Lack of accuracy

“They scored two goals in two actions in which we knew they were strong, from two side shots. It cost us dearly as when we reached the finish, we couldn’t find that last pass. In the first half we were dominating play, knowing where we could do some damage, but at the time of making the final decision in front of goal we weren’t accurate. Sincerely speaking, regarding myself and the team in general, it hurts us to be defeated by any team. In the first 45 minutes they were scared, but we didn’t have the gall to think that we could win the match”.

Teamwork

"This is a team game, not relying on one or two players. We have to go all for one, as we did last weekend against Barcelona. We now need to focus on next week, changing things we did wrong today and go all out next Saturday in Málaga against Valencia”.

Focus on Valencia 

"In the end, football is like that, you play a superb game and the following week you’re not at the same level. Unfortunately, we know this to be the case. The good thing is we have another match next week and we’ll focus on finding the positive dynamic we had against Barça. We must work hard in this long week ahead, and concentrate on winning the three points at our home ground”.

The victory against Barcelona isn’t the reason for this defeat

"There was of course euphoria following our last two victories, but I don’t think this was the reason for us not winning three points today. We played an amazing match last week, and this week we didn’t give the same image, but that’s football”.
