Juan Soriano defends our goal

The goalkeeper joins the Malaguista ranks on loan from Sevilla FC. The keeper will reinforce the Blue and White goal for the current season.

Juan Soriano Oropesa (23/08/1997, Benacazón - Sevilla) is the new Málaga CF goalkeeper. The player signed his contract with the Entity this Monday at La Rosaleda’s offices and will join his teammates in the next few hours.

Sevilla FC’s youth ranks and meeting Pellicer

Soriano trained in the youth ranks of Sevilla until his official first team debut in the 18/19 season - 10/03/2019 against Real Sociedad de Fútbol on matchday 27 of LaLiga Santander. As he developed his youth career, he came up against Málaga CF Juvenil DH in the final of the Copa de Campeones 15/16, when the Blue and Whites won on penalties to win their second national title. At the helm of the Malaguista squad was his new coach, Sergio Pellicer.

First Division experience

Despite his young age, 23 years old, Juan has played 15 matches in the top flight of Spanish football. Four were with Sevilla FC to whom he belongs, and 11 with CD Leganés where he was loaned out during the 19/20 season.

Guardian of the Blue and White goal

Soriano is a goalkeeper with a very bright future, who arrives at the Malaguista ranks with great enthusiasm on loan for a season from Sevilla FC.
