“When you lose sensations it’s never a good thing, but we must keep picking up the pace. We’ve had a hard week of work, which helps to keep gaining sensations”.

Sensations

“It’s certainly true that you feel better when you win. The team was imprecise, which is normal at this point in the pre-season, but I think we tried to capture what the coach asked of us on the pitch”.

Personal performance

“OK. Perhaps in the final metres I was somewhat inaccurate, but I feel pretty confident and keen to start the new season. I can’t wait to get started. We must keep working hard in order continue improving”.

Intense team

“The team always makes an effort. English teams are characterised by that intensity. They’ve also had one or two weeks more in training than us, which shows. We’ve been training in triple and double sessions, and our legs are feeling heavy, so perhaps in that respect they were a little lighter”.

Keen

“I really want to change the image of last season, which I don’t think was the best. The first one interested in changing this image is me. I came here determined to do everything in my power, and I feel indebted to the fans and want to return all the affection they’ve shown me since the first day I arrived in Málaga”.

Signings

“I think the players who are arriving have experience and quality, which helps the team to grow. That’s the important thing, that we’re all here to help us do better”.
