The homegrown player was called-up by the RFEF this Thursday for the Concentration Phase ahead of the European Championship that gets underway on 16th May in Budapest.
Izan Merino, a Juvenil player from the MCF Academy, will join Spain’s Under-17s for this stage, starting on Monday 8th May at Ciudad Deportiva de Las Rozas. From this concentration, the final list of players will be decided who will represent Spain in the upcoming European Championship, held from 16th May to 3rd June in Budapest, Hungary.
The Blue and White midfielder has been alternating appearances this season with the Juvenil A and Atlético Malagueño, playing a total of 11 games with the Malaguista reserve team.
