Ismael assists in Spain’s second victory in the COTIF

The homegrown defender played his third match last night with Spain’s Under-20s in the COTIF International Tournament in La Alcudia, providing an assist in the definitive 2-0 win against Bahrain.

There’s no stopping Ismael Casas. Yesterday, Sunday he was again part of the starting-11 in the match between Spain and Bahrain, playing for 54 minutes. Spain defeated Bahrain by 2-0, with goals from Marc Tenas (26’) and Collado (34’), the latter following a pass from the Blue and White player in an action that stemmed from the right wing.

The second victory out of three matches in the U-20 COTIF Tournament for Spain, allowing Ismael and his teammates to keep their options intact for a pass to the final. The last match of the initial phase, against Mauritania, will take place tomorrow, Tuesday at 20:30 in Valencia.
