The Academy

Isaac Jiménez: “I’m very proud of my players”

Málaga CF’s Alevín coach spoke to the Club’s media following his team’s participation in LaLiga Promises: “The Academy is at the level of the best in Spain, so we need to keep working hard and take care of it”.

Great tournament

“I believe the team gave a great image, the boys reflected in the tournament everything we’ve been working on. In defence we were clear what we wanted to achieve, maintaining high pressure and afterwards, assembling structure in midfield. On the attack we had a few more doubts than usual at the start of play, which is normal, and in the end, we were perhaps too forgiving and ended up paying for it at this level”.

Learning

“The boys’ spirits were low, but we’ve spoken to them and they feel better now. This is football and they are of a learning age. I’m delighted the fans are proud of this team”.

A great generation

“I’m extremely proud of them all, they are a very good group of players who have surpassed some difficult moments since the start of the season. I have great affection for the 12 of them and I think this Club has to continue looking after this generation to keep bringing us joy”.

MCF Academy

“The Academy is at the level of the best in Spain, so we need to keep working hard and take care of it. I’m very proud of my players, my colleagues on the coaching team and the behaviour of the parents in the stands”.

We will return to LaLiga Promises

“I want to take this opportunity to say thank you for allowing me to represent this Club at such a high-profile tournament. Thanks to everyone who watched the games on television, and those who accompanied us to Ciudad Deportiva Pamesa de Villarreal. Málaga CF will return to Liga Promises!”
