Homegrown players feature in first part of training

Málaga CF’s third session of the week got underway this morning at La Rosaleda Stadium. Several homegrown players were present in the first part of the session.

Training kicked off at 10:30 and making the most of Atlético Malagueño’s presence at the Annexe, Pellicer had seven new homegrown players available who train each day with Funes’ team.

Following the warm-up and various activation exercises, including rounds in groups, mini matches in a reduced space and technical-tactical work with the ball featured in today’s training session.

In the first part of training, in action with the first team – as well as Moussa (present yesterday) – were reserve team defenders Recio, Murillo and Juvenil, Márquez; midfielders Paco, Rafa and Jesús Martín; and striker Oñate.

Carlos López, Cristian, Loren and Juvenil, player Álex Calvo completed the players in training, with injured Ramón (gym) absent. Another homegrown player, Haitam, continued with his recovery process under the supervision of physical trainer Toni Tapia.

The Blue and Whites will resume training tomorrow, Thursday at 10:30 at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
