Homegrown player Hugo returns to the group dynamic

The Málaga CF squad returned to training this Tuesday morning, with the main new addition of reserve team player, Hugo, now recovered from injury.

The session kicked off at 10:00 with the usual warm-up on the pitch at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium. Following a series of activation exercises, a number of the starting players from Sunday’s game against RC Deportivo (Pau Torres, Ricca, Iván Rodríguez, Adrián, N’Diaye, Iván Alejo and Keidi) carried out recovery training and ended the session in the gym. The rest of the team trained at a faster pace under the orders of Muñiz.

Homegrown player Hugo, now recovered from a tear to the muscle fibres, returned to training today with his teammates and completed the session normally. Alongside him, Boulahroud moved on to the field of play after several days training in the gym, where Juankar, Miguel Torres and Lacen were in training this morning. The latter two continued work on the pitch with physical trainer, Manu Gestoso.

Homegrown Iván Jaime was in training with the Malaguista first team, along with Harper, Iván Rodríguez and Keidi, the last three who have been in the group dynamic since the start of the season.

The team will return to training tomorrow, Wednesday at the same location to continue preparations for Saturday’s clash with Córdoba (18:00).
