The Africa Under-20 Cup of Nations couldn’t have got off to a better start for Haitam Abaida. Yesterday Morocco defeated Gambia by 1-0 in the first match in Group C of the competition taking place in Mauritania.
The young Blue and White player was in the starting-11, wore the number ‘7’ jersey, and played for 90 minutes.
In the other Group match, Ghana enjoyed a big win (4-0) against Tanzania. As such, Ghana and Morocco are leading the group with three points.
